Toulouse candidate city to host European Meteorological Centre

02/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The French Ministry of Research announced on Saturday 30 May that it had selected Toulouse as a candidate city to host the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). The organisation conducts research and produces weather forecasts that are sent to Member States. It has one of the largest supercomputers in Europe and currently employs around 360 people.
