Post-Covid-19 economic recovery plans in the EU must not remain tied to GDP growth targets, but promote social and environmental well-being to enable everyone to live well within the limits of the planet, Greenpeace warned on Monday 25 May, pending the Commission's proposal.

According to the NGO, whether they are future proof, that they provide for everyone and safeguard fundamental rights are the three tests for measuring whether the economic recovery plans live up to the rhetoric or...
