Commission proposes a 50% reduction on use of chemical pesticides in its 'Farm to Fork' strategy

As expected (see EUROPE B12489A10), the European Commission adopted, on Wednesday 20 May, its 'Farm to Fork' strategy, which, in line with the imperatives linked to biodiversity (see other news), provides in particular for a 50% reduction, by 2030, in the use of chemical pesticides (and the corresponding risk and a 50% reduction in the use of the most dangerous pesticides).
