Financial aid to airlines is expected to reach €26 billion

The airline bailout tracker published by the NGOs Greenpeace, Transport & Environment (T&E) and Carbon Market Watch listing the financial aid allocated to airlines in the EU (see EUROPE B12472A23) was updated on Thursday 30 April. The three NGOs have now estimated the total amount of aid granted to these companies at €26 billion.
