COVID-19, equipment shipped to Dutch Caribbean islands with EU support

24/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – Through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, medical equipment, tests, personal protective equipment against COVID-19, ventilators and medicines are being transported to the Dutch Caribbean islands, the European Commission announced on Friday 24 April. The Netherlands made the offer of assistance. The equipment, which will arrive by air and sea transport, is destined for Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
