01/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – The Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the European Green Deal, Frans Timmermans, will be heard by members of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) on Tuesday 21 April, according to information gathered by EUROPE. This online discussion will be an opportunity for MEPs to take stock with the Vice-President on the state of play of the European Green Deal. The Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, could also be heard by the ENVI Committee on the same day, or earlier in the week, as the final agenda has not yet been set due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
