European Parliament Budgets Committee calls for €7 billion more to be mobilised in response to COVID-19 crisis

On Thursday 26 March, the chairman and coordinators of the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgets called for an ambitious budget package in response to the COVID-19 epidemic (see EUROPE B12453A26).

“We expect EU leaders to support bold and coordinated action today to address this unprecedented emergency”, say MEPs.
