European Commission announces more than €400 million for countries in region to deal with COVID-19
Brussels, 26/03/2020 (Agence Europe)

The Commissioner for Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, announced on Wednesday 25 March that €38 million would be made available as immediate support for health sectors in the Balkan countries. He added that the European Commission planned to reallocate more than €373 million to social and economic recovery.

Of the €38 million, which is made up from funds that have so far not been spent or allocated, Albania and North Macedonia will each receive €4 million, Bosnia and Herzegovina €7...
