Covid-19, Greens/EFA group in European Parliament calls for action to prevent lockdown from increasing domestic violence

The Greens/EFA group on Thursday 19 March sent a letter to the President of the EU Council, Charles Michel, the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Commissioner for Equality, Helena Dalli, to alert EU leaders to the "horrific reality" that isolation measures represent for many European citizens who are victims of domestic violence.
