Presentation of EU’s ‘Food Sustainability’ and ‘Biodiversity’ strategies has been postponed until end of April

19/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – Due to the coronavirus crisis, the European Commission has decided to postpone the adoption of its communications on food sustainability (‘Farm to Fork’) and on the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 (see EUROPE 12446/9 and 12428/4) one month. According to the Commission’s new provisional timetable—which is still subject to change—these two strategies are now scheduled to be unveiled on 29 April. They were previously scheduled to be presented on 25 March. (AN)
