12/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – While Eurochambres, of which it is a member, criticised the industrial strategy presented by the European Commission on 10 March (see EUROPE 12444/5), on Wednesday 11 March CCI France expressed its support for the Commission's package. “The Chambers of Commerce and Industry in France (...) support the strategic priorities chosen by the European Commission as well as the first concrete measures presented”, said the President of CCI France, Pierre Goguet, in a press release sent to EUROPE. CCI France particularly welcomes the Commission's decision to create an EU High Representative for SMEs, as this “confirms that our small and medium-sized enterprises can be at the heart of the interests of European public authorities”.
