Commission clears acquisition of joint control over INWIT by Telecom Italia and Vodafone, subject to conditions

The European Commission cleared, on Friday 6 March, the proposed acquisition of joint control over INWIT by Telecom Italia and Vodafone, subject to conditions.

Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President for Competition Policy, said that the fast roll-out of 5G technology in Italy will benefit Italian consumers and businesses.
