Council of Europe action plan to promote Roma inclusion

The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe adopted, on Wednesday 22 January, a Strategic Action Plan on Roma and Traveller integration to combat discrimination and anti-Gypsy prejudice by promoting equality.

This new action plan, which will cover the period 2020-2025, succeeds a previous plan deployed between 2016 and 2019. It sets itself the objective of continuing the progress already made and of tackling even more resolutely the anti-Gypsy prejudice whose persistence is attested...
