22/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 January, the European Commission published two notices of initiation of expiry reviews on imports of Chinese and Indonesian MSG and Chinese citric acid. In both cases, the European industry considered that the expiry of the existing measures would be likely to lead to a recurrence of injury to the Union industry and provided the Commission with sufficient evidence to justify the initiation of these reviews. These investigations are normally completed within 12 months. Furthermore, following an anti-circumvention investigation, the Commission also announced the extension of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of Chinese bicycles (see EUROPE 12316/5) to imports of certain bicycle parts on 20 January.
