In a resolution adopted on Thursday 16 January in Strasbourg, the European Parliament strongly condemns restrictions on freedom of expression, restrictions on civil liberties, large-scale human rights violations, intimidation and arbitrary arrests of journalists and broadcasting bans in Burundi.
