Christoph Buik appointed head of EU Advisory Mission in Iraq

12/12/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 11 December, the ambassadors of the Member States meeting at the Political and Security Committee (PSC) appointed German diplomat Christoph Buik as head of the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq (EUAM Iraq). He will replace his compatriot Markus Ritter, who has held the position since the mission was launched in October 2017, on 1 January.
