Commission refers assessment of Triton's acquisition of Corendon to Belgium and Netherlands

12/12/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 11 December, the European Commission referred assessment of the proposed acquisition of sole control of Dutch company Corendon Holding B.V. by Triton Group of Luxembourg to the Belgian and Dutch national competition authorities. Corendon provides package holidays via its website and also operates Corendon Dutch Airlines. Triton is an investment company that owns tour operator Sunweb.
