EDPS receives Global Privacy and Data Protection Award

22/10/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) received the Global Privacy and Data Protection Award on Tuesday 22 October at the annual International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners in Tirana. This prize recognizes the EDPS for developing a free software tool (‘Website Evidence Collector’) to collect evidence on the processing of personal data on websites.
