EPP Group proposes creation of a special parliamentary committee to fight cancer

The Christian Democratic Group in the European Parliament (EPP) has proposed the establishment of a special parliamentary committee dedicated to the fight against cancer on Wednesday 18 September during a debate on the subject in the Strasbourg Chamber.

“We want there to be a special committee in the European Parliament to work on the strategy to fight cancer”, said EPP President Manfred Weber (Germany).
