2019/2020 School Milk and Fruit Scheme can start

At the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year, the EU's programme to promote the consumption of fruit, vegetables and milk in schools will resume in participating countries, the European Commission announced on Monday 2 September.

At the end of March, the Commission adopted national budget allocations for EU programmes to support the consumption of fruit, vegetables and milk in schools in 2019/2020(see EUROPE B12223A27).
