EU urges military and civilian sides to put aside their differences to permit a civilian transition

01/08/2019 (Agence Europe) – In the aftermath of the announcement of the suspension of negotiations between the military power and the leaders of the protest in Sudan, the EU called on the Transitional Military Council (TMC) and the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) on Wednesday 31 July to "set aside their differences and swiftly reach agreement to pave the way for a civilian-led transition".
