EPO registers its first patent applications for inventions created entirely by artificial intelligence

01/08/2019 (Agence Europe) – The IPPro Magazine website reported on Thursday 1 August that a professor at the University of Surrey (United Kingdom) has filed two patent applications created by artificial intelligence with the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO).
