17/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – As announced (see EUROPE 12294/29, EUROPE 12294/30), the EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate on Monday 15 July two separate decisions authorising the European Commission to open negotiations with the Seychelles and Senegal in order to conclude new fisheries partnership agreements with these two non-Member States. The existing partnership agreement with Seychelles is applicable until 1st November 2019. The protocol with Senegal will expire on 19 November 2019. (LC)
