Commission approves four new names for wines from Spain and Italy

12/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Wednesday 12 June that it has accepted the application to include ‘La Jaraba’, ‘Vallegarcía’, ‘Los Cerrillos’ and ‘Nizza’ in the Community Register of Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). 'Los Cerillos' and 'Vallegarcía' refer to wines produced from grape varieties grown in the province of Ciudad Real, in central Spain.
