Next European Parliament to negotiate with EU Council on 2021-2027 ‘Customs’ programme

16/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament as a whole confirmed, on Tuesday 16 April, by 558 votes to 35 against with 52 abstentions, its position at first reading on the 'Customs' programme for the period 2021-2027, which aims to improve cooperation between customs administrations (see EUROPE B12037A15). On this issue, the European Parliament did not wish to start interinstitutional negotiations with the Council of the EU, considering that there were too many issues...
