Facebook convicted in France for unfair terms

10/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The French justice system ordered Facebook to pay 30,000 euros to the consumer association UFC-Que Choisir, which considered the terms of the American giant's general conditions of use to be "abusive", according to a report published Wednesday 10 April by AFP.  In a judgment handed down the previous day, the Paris Regional Court (TGI) ordered Facebook Ireland to pay the UFC-Que Choisir consumer association the sum of 30,000 euros "in compensation for moral...
