Commission takes a positive look at actions to support European battery sector

10/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission published on Tuesday 9 April a report on the implementation of the Strategic Action Plan on Batteries. According to the report, an ecosystem of 260 companies is beginning to emerge along the entire production chain. Some €100 billion of private investment has been announced so far. The objective is to develop a European sustainable production sector to reach 25% of world production by 2028 (compared to 3% today). Among the objectives...
