Commission protects a geographical indication from Cambodia

3/4/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Wednesday 3 April the addition of Cambodian palm sugar 'Skor Thnot Kampong Speu' to the Regulation on quality systems for agricultural products and foodstuffs. The Commission has registered the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for this palm sugar made from the sap of the palm tree.
