European Parliament and Council look for a partial interinstitutional agreement on the CEF by 7 March

The Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and representatives of the European Parliament hope to reach a partial interinstitutional agreement by March on the structure of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) relating to the period 2021-2027. 

This was the outcome of the second meeting of interinstitutional negotiations ('trilogues') between the two sides, which took place on Tuesday 19 February in Brussels.
