MEP Alain Cadec criticises the rule on the obligation to land catches

20/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – At a hearing on ending discards of fish at sea, MEP Alain Cadec (EPP, France) strongly criticised, on Tuesday 19 February, the provisions of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) on the landing obligation. "I voted against it because this rule is unenforceable", said the chairman of the European Parliament Fisheries Committee, speaking with his cap as a Member of Parliament.
