European Parliament Committee approves interinstitutional agreement on transposition of NAFO measures

19/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament's Committee on Fisheries approved on Tuesday 19 February the special agreement text between EU institutions on the proposal for a regulation laying down conservation and control measures applicable in the Regulatory Area of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO). NAFO is the regional fisheries management organization responsible for the management of fisheries resources in the Northwest Atlantic (see EUROPE 12079). (LC)
