Review of European Supervisory Authorities, Member States record an agreement and highlight their red lines

As expected, on Tuesday 12 February, the Member States of the European Union adopted a general approach on the overall reform of the European financial supervision architecture (see EUROPE 11864). They also took the opportunity to warn that this compromise, which is so difficult to find, must not be unravelled during the forthcoming interinstitutional negotiations with the European Parliament.
