Maritime emissions, Commission proposes to amend EU MRV Regulation to take into account IMO system

07/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – To take into account the global data collection system for fuel oil consumption of ships adopted by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), the Commission proposed on Monday 4 February to amend the EU Regulation imposing a monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) mechanism for ships' emissions (Regulation 2015/757).
