30/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 28 November, the European Commission, together with national and European authorities, signed the Amsterdam Declaration on drone operations. Through this agreement, the signatories aim to develop "safe, secure and green" solutions so that drones can be used appropriately on EU territory. The text therefore calls on the various actors involved in the drone sector to work together to do so. "I am delighted to see that smart mobility solutions are becoming a reality. All partners are on board agree to ensure safe, secure, green and quiet drone operations. Our U-space system will connect all drones flying in the air, which in turn them visible for authorities and citizens", said Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc on the occasion of the signing of the declaration.
