The European Parliament's Committee on Fisheries could vote on Tuesday 27 November in favour of a ban from July to the end of September each year on trawls below the 100-metre (m) isobath in the Mediterranean.
The Parliament Fisheries Committee will consider 300 amendments when it adopts on Tuesday the report by Clara Eugenia Aguilera García (S&D, Spain) on the multi-annual plan for the management of demersal stocks in the western Mediterranean (see EUROPE 12101).
