Member States do not seem to want to extend whistleblower directive to workers' rights

In a draft document from the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, dated 21 November, of which EUROPE has received a copy, it would appear that the Member States do not want to extend the scope of the Directive to Article 153 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), dedicated to workers' rights, unlike what the European Parliament voted earlier this week (see EUROPE 12141)
