End of legislative procedure on free movement of data

12/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 9 November, the Council of the EU approved the new rules on the free movement of non-personal data, which prohibit the unjustified tracking of data (except for reasons of public security) (see EUROPE 12045). The two institutions will now co-sign the text at the plenary session of the European Parliament starting on 12 November in Strasbourg.
