European Commission study on prospects for 'blue bioeconomy’

30/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Market Observatory for Fisheries and Aquaculture Products (EUMOFA) published a study on the situation and prospects of the 'blue bioeconomy' on 28 October. Its growth potential is increasing expectations, says the study, which assesses the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of aquatic biomass to create diverse products: novel foods and feed additives, animal feeds, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, materials (textiles...
