EU supports Bogota's action in pacification of country and hosting Venezuelan refugees

The European Commission is of the opinion that Colombia, governed since June by Iván Duque, is a trustworthy political and trade partner that must be supported in the fulfilment of the peace agreement signed in August 2016 with the former FARC guerrillas.  It is also of the opinion that Colombia should be supported in its hosting of a million Venezuelan refugees fleeing the political and humanitarian crisis in in their country (see other article).
