25/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – MEPs, meeting in plenary session of the European Parliament, adopted (215 votes in favour, 47 against, 36 abstentions), on Thursday 25 October, the -initiative report by Ismail Ertug (S&D, Germany) calling on the European Commission to propose a revision of Directive 2014/94/EU on the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructure. The draft report had already been adopted by MEPs of Parliament's ‘transport’ Committee last month (see EUROPE 12102). The text echoes the introduction of an action plan on this subject by the Commission when it presented the second ‘mobility’ package on 8 November last. (LT)
