EU extends sanctions against Saleh, Ghweil and Abu Sahmein for further six months

02/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – On 28 September, the EU again extended its sanctions for six months against the president of the Libyan Council of Deputies in the House of Representatives, Agila Saleh, the president of the General National Congress, Nuri Abu Sahmain, and the prime minister of this internationally unrecognised General National Congress, Khalifa Ghweil.   News of this was published in the Official Journal of the EU on 1 October.  The three people are sanctioned for...
