EIB invests €1.2 billion in renewable energies and energy efficiency

20/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 19 September, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced a total investment plan (energy, innovation, etc.) of €5 billion devoted to projects in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.  The funding, devoted to renewable energies (€1.2 billion) will be for “21 new wind farms to be built across Spain, as well as new solar and renewable energy projects in the country”.  The EIB is also investing in energy efficiency schemes in...
