Member states reach agreement on third country airlines leasing crewed aircraft

As announced by EUROPE a few days ago (see EUROPE 12095), the draft compromise from the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union dated 12 September regarding the revision of regulation 1008/2008 on the European airline company leasing of aircraft with crews to third country airlines did not pose any problems during the meeting of the Council “aviation” working party meeting on Friday 14 September and the national delegations approved it.
