Dewayne Johnson, Afriforum and Mary Wagner also nominated for 2018 Sakharov Prize

14/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – Alongside rescue NGOs in the Mediterranean, Seyran Ateş, César, Oleg Sentsov and Nasser Zefzafi (see EUROPE 12095), Dewayne Johnson, Afriforum and Mary Wagner have been nominated for the 2018 Sakharov Prize. Contrary to our information, the EFDD has made its choice, in the person of Dewayne Johnson, former gardener who sued Monsanto over allegations that its herbicide Roundup can cause cancer.
