On Friday 31 August, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini announced additional humanitarian assistance for Venezuela of €35 million.
"The EU has just adopted a package of humanitarian assistance of €35 million to support Venezuelans in their territory and in neighbouring countries, and the host communities", she said at the end of the informal foreign affairs ministers' meeting in Vienna in which the issue of Venezuela was addressed....
