Parent/subsidiaries – Advocate General partly finds in favour of Commission versus France

France disregarded a judgment (case C-310/09) of the Court of Justice of the EU and continued discriminatory treatment between French parent companies receiving dividends from French subsidiaries and those receiving dividends from foreign subsidiaries, according to Advocate General Melchior Wathelet in conclusions returned on Wednesday 25 July (case C-416/17).
