Member states reported to tend to favour European level for regulating digital platforms

National delegations are reported to be gradually changing tack in face of the challenges posed by digital platforms.

At an informal meeting (see EUROPE 12065) organised by the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU in Vienna on Thursday 19 July and Friday 20 July, the Austrian presidency organised an electronic poll of national delegations to find out what would be the best approach to work via digital platforms.
