After the contaminated egg crisis of summer 2017, are we now experiencing a frozen vegetables crisis? According to an interim report by the European Food Safety Agency, an outbreak of listeria has left 9 people dead and 38 sick over a three year period in five EU countries.
This strain was detected in frozen vegetables from a Hungarian factory and the five countries affected include Austria, Denmark, Finland, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
