EPP Group advocates new elections respecting democratic standards

The European People's Party (EPP) is proposing a resolution on the migration crisis and humanitarian situation in Venezuela and on its borders.  This includes a call for new elections that "comply with internationally recognised democratic standards".

During the European Parliament's plenary session in Strasbourg, the MEPs will discuss (on Tuesday 3 July) and vote (on Thursday) on resolutions on the humanitarian situation in Venezuela, following the visits of two European Parliament...
