Entry into force of EU rebalancing measures on 22 June in response to US taxes on steel and aluminium

On Wednesday 20 June, the European Commission adopted the regulation putting in place the EU's rebalancing measures in response to the US tariffs of 25% on imports of steel and of 10% on imports of aluminium.  The measures will immediately target a list of products worth €2.8 billion and will come into effect on Friday 22 June.

This implementing regulation, which will be published on 21 June, sets out the products and level of duties to be applied now and in the future, if necessary.
